For the safety of boaters and to improve the facilities available in Woods Island harbour, the Bay of Islands Yacht Club has constructed a floating dock system.
The dock is located in a protected area of the harbour and is able to accommodate eight to 10 boats. The floating dock is meant for short term stays and excursions to Woods Island.
This project was made possible with financial assistance from the provincial dept. of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and the dept. of Innovation Trade and Rural Development.
